About The Chamber
The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit association of business and industry and individuals interested in the economic growth and quality of life of the community. Its members represent a broad cross section of the economy. They provide the resources, ideas, and initiative to "make things happen" in Stillwater and the surrounding area.
That commitment to excellence and community advancement contributed to the organization's three-star Accreditation by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and its selection in 2007 as the national "Chamber of the Year" by the American Chamber of Commerce Executivs.
The Chamber's plan of work is organized around four major divisions: economic and community development, visitor development, government affairs, and member services. Governed by a 30-member Board of Directors and supported by a dedicated professional staff, the Chamber utilizes a committee and task force structure to help accomplish its goals for a better Stillwater.
Mission Statement As a proactive organization working for the prosperity of the Stillwater area, the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce will: 1) promote attraction, retention and expansion of commerce in the Stillwater area; 2) provide members with value-added services and benefits; 3) stimulate community leadership and quality of life; 4) operate as a business of integrity and efficiency.
