One of the most popular visitor attractions is the world famous Eskimo Joe’s restaurant and Eskimo Joe’s Clothes World Headquarters (home of the T-shirt described by the TV program 20/20 as a world collectible).
With more than $400 million dollars in annual retail sales, Stillwater is a retail magnet for more than 250,000 people in its trade area. More than 600,000 square feet of new retail space was added in 2006, led by national retailers like Belk, Linens 'n Things, Petco, Ross, and Wal-Mart.
