Kirsten Hoffman named YPS 360

Kirsten graduated from Marymount University in 2001 with dual degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice and obtained her M.A. in Survey Research from the University of Connecticut in 2004. She began her career as a Research Executive for the Global Market Research Firm Millward Brown in Fairfield, Connecticut. During this time, she was responsible for creating and utilizing algorithms to rank advertisements on television, in print, and on the radio. This was used to test advertising effectiveness against a company’s prior ads and competitors.

Currently, she spends her days at InterWorks playing Tetris on a high stakes level with the schedules of almost seventy consultants across the United States and their Asia Pacific market. She helps facilitate partnerships, relationships, navigate onboarding requirements for InterWorks, and ensures that processes are running smoothly. Her biggest piece of advice regarding her career was “You spend too much of your time working in life to spend it in a career or job that you don’t like.”

Kirsten is heavily involved in Stillwater. She has served in the CASA for Kids, Inc. Board of Directors, Unitarian Universalist Church of Stillwater board of Trustees, Oklahoma Masters Swimming and Stillwater YMCA Shockers Swim Team as a volunteer coach. ”Stillwater is a friendly community that I am happy to have joined,” she said. “It’s a community that embraces volunteerism and allows people to live more balanced lives. As a career woman and a single-parent, I can’t think of a better community that allows me to be full engaged both in my career, but also be a full-participant in my child’s school and extracurricular activities.”

Kirsten is honored to be recognized as an Emerging Leader Under 40 Top Leader and YPS360 feature. “It’s such an honor to be included in the spotlight,” Kirsten said. “I am grateful that I get to grow and further my career at InterWorks, which provides so many opportunities for me in the tech industry, while also actively allowing me to be a hands-on parent."
