Meridian Technology Center and Stillwater Chamber Partner for Lunchtime Learning Series: “Retreat and Refocus: Using Time Together to Create the Work Culture Your Team Is Looking For”

Nov 30, 2021

STILLWATER, Okla. – Your life and the lives of your colleagues have likely been turned inside out over the last two years. And as you look forward to what your team needs to accomplish in the next calendar year, maybe now is the right time to retreat and refocus.

Company retreats are great for getting everyone away from the office and outside of their comfort zone. The result is often renewed energy and a revived sense of community among team members that can result in a positive shift in your company’s culture and a renewed excitement in working together to accomplish your team’s daily duties.  When done right, this time together can encourage everyone to step out of the details and focus on the big-picture elements that contribute to the company’s success. What does this look like for your team?

On December 14, as part of the Lunchtime Learning series co-sponsored by the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and Meridian Technology Center, Marcy Luter will present "Retreat and Refocus: Using Time Together to Create the Work Culture Your Team Is Looking For.”

During this session, Luter will explore essential aspects of retreat planning and how to plan one that fits your team's culture and budget.

Luter works with businesses and organizations of all kinds to meet their goals through training and other educational opportunities for their greatest asset...their human resources. Her areas of expertise include personal effectiveness and time management, playing to your strengths, communication skills and team dynamics. She is a certified facilitator and trainer for FranklinCovey, Gallup’s StrengthsQuest assessment, Development Dimensions International, AchieveGlobal and Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
