STILLWATER, Okla. (April 17, 2019) – On May 15, Startup Stillwater will host Mo Collins’ one-day workshop titled “#RosieWasRight: A Workshop for Women Who Believe They Can Do It.” This session for women entrepreneurs is designed to help them assess and act upon their growth potential, with a focus on using technology in innovative ways.
Startup Stillwater is a partnership between the Meridian Technology Center for Business Development, the Oklahoma State University Riata Center for Entrepreneurship, Cowboy Technologies and the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. It is an initiative designed to support and encourage local entrepreneurs.
Attendees will have a chance to explore and share about their current businesses and learn about an innovative triple bottom line: people, place and profits and how they can grow better, stronger companies.
The workshop also covers tech trends changing every industry — including the four industries where women hold 80% of the market, TechIdeation© — a form of ideastorming to help identify new and off-the-shelf technologies to grow businesses, learning about women across industry who have combined their passion with clever tech to grow sales by 20% to 30%, a roadmap to navigate all things tech, and a network of like-minded women online and in the community.
