STILLWATER, Okla. (July 23, 2019) - Stillwater residents now have the option to report dilapidated structures online to Code Enforcement.
To complete complaint forms, residents are asked to include the address of the structure, the extent of the violation and the effect of the situation on the neighborhood. Complaints may be tracked through the City’s website under the Who to Contact/Report & Track tab.
Residents also have the option of reporting dilapidated structures and other nuisance violations by calling the Property Maintenance Action Line at 405.742.8383.
All complaints will be investigated.
“The Stillwater City Council is holding hearings on dilapidated structures,” Assistant City Manager Paula Dennison said. “The first one was held in July and the next is scheduled for August 26. These hearings are to determine if the reported structures are, in fact, dilapidated, and if so, what actions are required to remedy the situations.”
Property owners will be notified of their violation and what actions items should be taken to address the problem. The hearing could be canceled if those actions are completed by the hearing date.
